     My neighbor picked up some postcards all depicting Canadian or British soldiers in ww1 except this one. Anyone know the nationality? German? Bavarian? Cheers Brian

    G'day Brian. Not 100% sure, however I don't think the Germanic states had peaked field caps, especially ones with a leather brim. Judging by the look of some of the troops, I'd hazard a guess that it's one of the Balkan states or maybe Austro-Hungarian.

    I think they are Austro-Hungarian.
