Well,I spoke on it way back when, but it seems we may have confirmed it.
Great Uncle Ernest Glenmore Hill landed in France on June 6th,1944 with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders. He was KIA on July 25th,1944 at Tilly la Campagne.
The other,Great,Great Uncle Ernest Glenmore Hill was with the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles(Quebec Regiment) and was KIA on Oct 2nd,1916.
Two uncles killed in France 28 years apart in the two World Wars. More awesome family Veteran history.
    Heroes lost,never to be forgotten!
A shadow box is in order.
So,anyone here with any 5th Canadian Mounted Rifle items?
5th Canadian Mounted Rifle hat badge to start would be nice.
Thanks guys5th Canadian Mounted Rifles "stuff" Bother11
