GUIDE: POSTING PICTURES

TO POST A PHOTO OR PHOTOS...FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW:

1. CLICK ON THE "NEW REPLY" BUTTON ON THE THREAD OR TOPIC YOU WISH TO POST A PHOTO

2. CLICK ON THE ICON CIRCLED WHICH SAYS "HOST AN IMAGE". This will log you onto the SERVIMG hosting site that the forum uses.

IF YOU WANT TO USE A DIFFERENT PICTURE HOST, click on the "IMAGE" function located one icon to the right. If you hover your pointer over the icons, a dropbox will appear telling you about it's function.

3. FOR THE FIRST TIME OR 2, YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO ENTER YOUR INFORMATION ON THE [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] SCREEN...THE LOGIN INFORMATION IS THE SAME AS YOU USE TO SIGN INTO THE FORUM...YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS & YOUR PASSWORD...THAT WINDOW WILL LOOK LIKE THIS:

WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO SIGN IN YOU MAY HAVE TO CLICK ON THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON FIRST...THEN USE YOU EMAIL & PASSWORD THAT YOU USE TO SIGN ON TO CMCF.

4. AFTER YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY SIGNED INTO THE SERVIMG PROGRAM, A WINDOW WILL POP UP LOOKING LIKE THE FOLLOWING..THEN YOU CAN CLICK ON THE BROWSE BUTTON SHOWN.

5.NEXT LOCATE THE PHOTO ON YOUR COMPUTER THAT YOU WISH TO INSERT. THEN DOUBLE CLICK OR PRESS ENTER ON THE PHOTO TO HAVE IT APPEAR IN THE UPLOAD FILE SPACE.

6. THEN CLICK THE "HOST IT" BUTTON:

7. THEN CLICK THE COPY BUTTON OR RIGHT CLICK & COPY THE MIDDLE LINE CALLED IMAGE LIKE THE BELOW PHOTO, THEN PASTE IT INTO THE POST WHERE YOU WISH THE PHOTO TO APPEAR.

Note: To close the uploader box, just click on the icon you used to open it.

8. WHEN YOU ARE DONE WRITING A DESCRIPTION...OR NOT...PRESS SEND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE TO SUBMIT THE POST.

IF YOU WANT TO PLACE MORE THAN ONE PICTURE INTO THE POST, JUST KEEP PRESSING "UPLOAD" ON THE PICTURE UPLOAD BOX AND A FRESH BROWSE SCREEN WILL APPEAR. REPEAT UNTIL YOU ARE DONE.

TO CLOSE THE UPLOAD BOX JUST CLICK ON THE ICON YOU USED TO CLOSE THE PICTURE UPLOADER.

Now! Go test it out in the test area of the forum. You'll get the hang of it with a bit of practice.

I did a preview no pic

For those of you using Firefox, clicking the copy button does not seem to work, I had to manually right click on the link and then hit copy.

It would be so easier to do a drag and drop to post pictures.
The ten steps reads like stereo instructions.
