I purchased this as my Great Uncle was with the Black Watch in WWI. He had shrapnel wounds in his right hand and right leg on March 22, 1916. Then was shot twice through the hand...two entrance wounds and two exit wounds. This would be the end of his combat time, although he stayed in the army, spending the rest of his time until his demob in 1919 in London Ontario at Wollesley Barracks.
