    Certainly has the C/l\ government acceptance mark. I am unfamiliar with most ordnance, fuses and such, so I am afraid I do know what this piece is.

    It's similar to a C broad arrow except that the arrow points to the side of the C rather than to the top as is normally seen. There is a possibility that this mark indicates something different.

    i think the same, the arrow points in a different way to the other acceptance marks....but the place were it was recovered was a canadian battlefield.
    The fuse was very similar to a uk n°119 fuse...
