Those decals, and the same for RCAF and RCCS, were widely available in the 1960's and sold to $0.10 cents. I would suggest that it has been added after the war.

The decal is applied on top of scratches/paint damage.......
Those decals can be obtained still today.
Do I need to explain the rest?

The helmet on the other way is a nice example (without the decal that is), I hope you didn't pay to much.

Interesting that they would still have utilized the "King's crown" for these decals in the 60's....

OK for the 60s Clive! But why to put a decal with the King crown, when there was even decal with the Queen crown ?
As exsemple the decal of Candian provost Corps in the 60s it had the Queen crown

    Canadian MKII officier RCA Dsc04610

No LSR, I did not pay it,  it is a present.

I try to be exact when writing. I stated "these were widely available in the 1960's". I never ventured a date for their manufacture as that is a fact of which I am unaware.

Available to collectors, but not necessarily issued by the military in the 60's. I think that is what Clive is saying. That makes more sense to me now.
