    Very nice uniforms, but I am a little confused by the one with the good conduct stripe on one arm and three years service stipes on the other arm. I read on the Canadian Soldiers Site yesterday that you required four years service to be eligible to wear a good conduct stripe.

    I think you might have misunderstood something since the first stripe could be awarded after two years service.

    You are absolutely right. One stripe for two years, second stripe after five years. It was World War One that it was four years.
